Controller Job Description: Raleigh, NC

Our client is looking for a Controller to take ownership of their finance and accounting operations and help drive the next phase of our growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the corporate finance function and work with executive leadership to implement scalable systems, drive financial transformation, and ensure strong internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of corporate finance, accounting, and reporting
• Develop and manage annual budgets, long-range forecasts, and variance analyses
• Collaborate with leadership on capital planning, investment strategies, and performance improvement
• Optimize ERP systems and processes
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and banking obligations
• Manage a small but high-performing finance team, with a focus on mentorship and development
• Champion cross-functional projects and change management efforts tied to finance transformation

• 5-10 years of finance leadership experience
• Deep experience with ERP systems
• Strong understanding of consolidation, compliance, and internal controls
• Ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• CPA Required
