Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all plating lines, rectifiers, hoists, pumps, and ventilation systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues

Maintain and repair racking systems, plating tanks, and part-handling tools.

Conduct daily inspections of equipment for leaks, wear, or performance issues

Perform tank changes, filter replacements, and pump swaps as needed.

Maintain logbooks for equipment maintenance, repairs, and downtime.

Assist with facility repairs: doors, lighting, plumbing, compressed air.

Work with the Facilities Manager to support capital improvement projects.

Support EHS by ensuring all safety systems (eyewash, ventilation, emergency lights) are functional.

Knowledge of electronic systems, trouble shooting and repairs.

Order parts and tools as needed and maintain inventory of critical spares

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to read diagrams and schematics.

Experience working around hazardous chemicals, tanks, and ventilation systems.

Familiarity with basic electrical troubleshooting (relays, fuses, sensors).

Ability to weld, solder, or perform light fabrication is a plus.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and safely.

Preferred: Experience in plating shop or chemical processing environment

Work Environment:

High-exposure role working in loud, chemical-heavy, hot environments.

Must wear PPE including gloves, goggles, steel-toe boots, and sometimes respirators.

Schedule & Compensation:

Full-time, hourly position with availability for weekend or after-hours call-ins if critical equipment goes down.
