Job Description: A Procurement Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating and engaging with potential supplies to help meet organizational requirements for products and services. The position is a critical link in bridging the link between operational needs and the external marketplace to help ensure quality and cost-effective solutions are delivered to the enterprise. Required Skill Sets: 1. Demonstrated skills to evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, pricing trends, and market data 2. Knowledge of procurement and contracting lifecycles 3. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external parties to ensure a reliable supply chain 4. Demonstrated ability to achieve cost-savings through the procurement process 5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills 6. Ability to conduct market research and assess suppliers to identify cost-effective solutions
