ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Ground Operations Station Manager is responsible for coordinating all ground operations services such as aircraft handling, passenger services, air cargo operations, and other needed services per airline activities. Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:

- Manage and develop station crew members to ensure a differentiated and a quality customer service experience for passengers
- Establish and maintain safety compliance of aircraft, customers, facilities and employee working environments
- Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with all government regulations, company policies and procedures including, but not limited to; dangerous goods acceptance and handling, proper aircraft loading, flight security procedures, safety incident/ hazard reporting
- Demonstrate compliance for controlling station expenses / cost and maintain an effective cost control program
- Establish airport and local community relations as liaison with airport, city officials, FAA, police and fire departments
- Coordinate airline vendor functions and act as liaison for local contracts providing service to Omni Air International, i.e. fueling, skycap, security, catering, cleaning and ground handling. Evaluate performance and Implement appropriate measures to review services provided to Omni Air International
- Ensure all required company publications are properly maintained and current with latest revisions
- Monitor day to day performance of the station in order to ensure customer service, accurate and timely execution of procedures and maintain the highest level of quality
- Responsible for keeping all station facilities, equipment and activities in compliance with applicable Federal, State, local and Airport regulations, policies and procedures
- Demonstrate quality control. Provide feedback, research and response to customer complaints/compliments in coordination with Customer Relations
- Maintain an insurable driving record under Omni insurance driving guidelines
- May require some travel
- Perform other incidental duties as assigned
- Must hold a valid driver's license with no major moving violations within the past 3 years
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Proficient computer skills are required
- Requires ability to handle numerous activities at once
- Must be able to work with limited supervision and possess impeccable attention to detail, excellent customer service, and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen
- High School diploma or GED (required)
- 2 years of aviation experience desired
- 1 year of supervision or management experience desired
- Stand - 40%

- Lifting - up to 75 lbs

- Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information
- Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis (longer than one month)
- Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit
- Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication
