POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Sales Manager and working in partnership with the existing sales team member(s), manages new parts and products sales, prospects for new business, and cultivates opportunities for planned maintenance contracts for new and existing businesses. Works closely with the System Sales Engineering team and project engineers.

  • Responds to customer requests for smaller conveyor equipment sales to include proposal development.
  • Consistently exceeds quarterly and annual sales goals in profitability and revenue.

    The Inside Sales Coordinator performs the following functions through concentration on parts and products sales, small size conveyor equipment sales and planned maintenance sales.



    • Communicates with Strategic and Target Customers while uncovering and helping them with their parts, products and maintenance needs.
    • Develops strong relationships with customers through timely follow-up and team coordination.
    • Exhibits familiarity and application knowledge and business technology (Office, CRM, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Shares success formulas with System Sales Engineers and other team members.
    • Plans strategies for account and market management and development (i.e., Sales Plan).
    • Prospects to identify potential new opportunities to build the sales pipeline.
    • Follows sales process to qualify opportunities and move them through the pipeline.
    • Collects necessary quote information.
    • Coordinates and assists in the quote process.
    • Develops and provides professional quotations tailored to each opportunity.
    • Negotiates and closes contracts.
    • Maintains good customer relationships.
    • Follows up on past due accounts.
    • Maintains all account, contact and opportunity information in the CRM database.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



    • Associates degree from an accredited college or community college.
    • Proficiency or familiarity using Microsoft Office, CRM, PowerPoint software and using the Internet.
    • Willing to achieve an in-depth understanding of material flow, information flow, and general business processes.



    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Minimum of three years of experience in material handling sales.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
