BE PART OF THE CONNECTION Do you have the skills and drive to oversee engineering activities that enhance Spectrum's telecommunications and signal processing hardware, software and electrical systems? As a Principal Engineer I, you will work with technical operations staff on system design and configuration. You will also work with design teams and advise team leaders. As part of Spectrum's engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable service delivery and enhancing customer experiences. WHAT OUR PRINCIPAL ENGINEERS ENJOY THE MOST Design, implement, monitor, enhance and troubleshoot systems in assigned areas. Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Test and review system designs. Provides engineering technical support and guidance to regional personnel and ensure all technical integration, changes, standards and documentation are met. Mentor and guide the work of technical staff. Review work plans, design and advise on improvements. Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable. Know, understand and follow company policy. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
