Program Analyst III

Job Duties (Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position):





  • Conduct program analysis, tracking cost, schedule, risk, and performance for supported programs.



  • Prepare and review program documentation, reports, briefings, and acquisition materials to support milestone decisions.



  • Assist with financial management tasks, including developing and updating Obligations & Outlay plans, supporting budget documents, and tracking invoicing and accruals.



  • Maintain and update program management tools (e.g., PMRT, CCaR, GFEBS) and ensure accurate reporting of program data.



  • Lead the receipt, review, and submission of responses to formal taskers within the JPEO task management system.



  • Support program meetings and reviews by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, taking meeting minutes, and drafting summaries.



  • Analyze acquisition strategies and provide recommendations in alignment with DoD 5000 policies.



  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and agencies to support program execution and meet objectives.





Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):





  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Program Management, or related field



  • 5-10 years of experience in program management, acquisition, or a related field



  • Experience with DoD acquisition processes and policies (DoDI 5000 series)



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and program management/financial systems such as CCaR and GFEBS





Nice to Have (skills that are not required, but nice to have):





  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Program Management (Practitioner) Certification



  • Experience with Joint Service Chemical Biological Information System (JSCBIS) or similar DoD systems



  • Familiarity with cost estimating and life cycle management planning
