In this role, your primary focus will be Talent Acquisition and managing the full-cycle recruiting process - this is a highly visible role in which you'll be able to network and develop quality applicant pools as you help attract top talent to Sentry.

This role will be located at our Davenport, IA office location in a hybrid work model.

What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll work within the Talent Acquisition team to attract talent and oversee the recruitment process. In addition, you'll:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: workforce planning, intake meeting, screening and presentation of candidates, communication throughout the process with candidates from applicant to hire.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to establish a recruiting strategy for current and upcoming positions.

  • Leverage a variety of sourcing tools, social media resources, online databases, and employee referrals to proactively build candidate pipelines.

  • Build rapport with candidates to keep them engaged throughout the hiring process.

  • Support the hiring team in determining qualified candidates by reviewing resumes for experience and knowledge, conducting initial interviews, verifying references, and performing background checks.

What it Takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications is preferred.

  • 2 - 5 years of Human Resources/recruiting experience.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Solid understanding of fair employment practices and regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

  • Technologically savvy.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with high level of ethics and integrity.

  • Knowledge of employment law preferred.

  • HR generalist experience preferred.
