The Training Administrator is the ultimate organizer for the Training and Development team. This role will manage class rosters and materials, arrange for training space, maintain training calendars for virtual and in person programs, and keep the organization abreast of all things happening in Training and Development.

Essential Job Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Handle clerical and administrative duties related to training and development
  • Provide back-end support during virtual trainings including interactive elements and reporting
  • Schedule training events including meals for in-person, obtain instructional materials, and ensure employees are kept abreast of training requirements
  • Coordinate with leadership on training attendees
  • Manage access to online training resources
  • Maintain training calendar and resource library in SharePoint
  • Coordinate with resources and vendors to secure training space and supplies for in-person events
  • Book travel to and from in-person training events for participants and facilitators including airlines, bus/van, and hotels
  • Maintain database of training participants and is the main admin for Learning Management System

Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • 0-2 years' experience in coordinating and/or training administration preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint, LMS Platforms, and/or eLearning authoring tools preferred


Location: Brentwood, TN

Travel Requirements:

Less than 5% (almost no travel)

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

Frequent: Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination and repetitive motion

Occasional: Standing and bending

Infrequent: Lifting up to 25 pounds

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between $45,000 and $55,000. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
