Ballard Spahr is seeking a IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to bridge the gap between our IT department and business units. In this pivotal role, you will cultivate strong partnerships, align IT initiatives with organizational goals, and drive maximum value from our technology investments. Your expertise will shape our strategy, prioritize projects, and evolve BRM functions across the firm. This position is remote, and consideration will be given to those near the Philadelphia office or surrounding areas, with the expectation to work in the office as needed. Why Join Us?
Your Role: As an IT Business Relationship Manager within our Information Technology Team, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
What We're Looking For:
Required Experience: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. 5 + years of IT experience, with at least 2 years of BRM, business analyst or stakeholder-facing experience. Prior experience working in a law firm or legal environment isstrongly preferred. 5+ years of experience working with Project Management Organizations (PMOs) along with a solid understanding of legal-specific technologies (e.g., document management systems like iManage/NetDocuments, e-discovery tools, time & billing systems). Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Experience with providing leadership and coordination for others with BRM responsibilities.
