POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Sheet Metal Worker Maintenance (Duct Cleaning) supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Sheet Metal Worker(Duct Cleaning) maintains and cleans ductwork and isresponsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sheet metal components, with a focus on HVAC systems, including ductwork and related equipment.Duties involve cleaning, repairing, and ensuring proper airflow within the ductwork.They also work with other sheet metal components like gutters, siding, and roofing.
- Performs layout of all types of sheet metal maintenance, from prints, specifications, or design packages according to Industry standards and regulations.
- Sets up and operates all available types of machinery to bend, cut, shape, fit, and assemble sheet metal components to include necessary welding operations.
- Performs routine maintenance on sheet metal machinery and hand tools including both personal and company tools and equipment.
- Provides Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) by visiting work sites and analyzing, evaluating, and determining scope of manpower and materials when required.
- Utilizes and interprets shop directives, diagrams, multi-blueprints, sketches, work orders and other specifications to determine material, tools, time frame and equipment needed for job completion.
- Performs standard formulas, shop mathematics, trade theories, and industry practices to calculate materials and problem solving.
- Fabricates ductwork matching existing system cubic feet per minute (CFM) and static pressure requirements.
- Responsible for completing daily labor sheets documenting Inspections, maintenance and repair information. to Include work performed, materials used and hour's worked on each assigned work order.
- Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as applicable.
- Operates motor vehicles in accordance with company vehicle policies.
- Complies with applicable federal, state, United states Air Force (USAF) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.
- Complies with health and safety rules and procedures; performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
- Disassemble/assemble ductwork as required to facilitate repair/replacement of ventilation or HVAC equipment.
- Incumbent will at all times wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment {PPE), as determined by position and duties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Valid state driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid insurance.
- Ability to make templates, jigs, and other fixtures required for repair or installation.
- Minimum five (5) years sheet metal experience.
- Maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changes in technology and applicable facility/infrastructure codes and standards.
- Familiarity with facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional andcourteous manner in diverse situations.
- Proficiency and knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools.
- Demonstrated working ability read, write, speak and understand English.
- Oklahoma State Mechanical Journeyman Certification, SM-1.
- This position may currently and/or in the future be required to obtain and retain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) and/or Personal Clearance (PCL) as required by law or contract.
- Position requires pre-employment drug screening and background check.
PREFERRED QUALITIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Seven (7) years' sheet metal experience.
- Five (5) years' welding experience.
- Formal training through apprenticeship or vocational school.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Military experience.
- Previous experience working on a military installation.
- Experience working on Tinker facilities.
- Familiarity with military-specific facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
