POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will join a team of dedicated accounting professionals and contribute to the day-to-day accounting functions. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer invoices and receipts. This role works closely with internal departments and external customers to resolve billing issues, monitor outstanding balances, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position that offers some flexibility in your daily schedule while maintaining a presence during core business hours.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
• Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment status
• Maintain up-to-date records of customer accounts in the accounting system
• Generate reports related to accounts receivable as needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting OR 2-4 years of equivalent experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proficient and accurate data entry skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and quickly adapt to changing priorities to support team members
• Maintain a well-organized system to account for various information processed
• High attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
• Team-oriented and strong work ethic
• Highly motivated, professional demeanor with a "can do" attitude

Compensation: $23.00-27.40 per hour. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual qualifications, experience, work location, and education. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
