Experience Required

- Possess at a minimum of five (5) years working experience and in-depth knowledge of related duties.
- Must be able to lift supplies and equipment weighing up to 85 lbs.
- Must be able to work in an environment with constant noise.
- Must be able to climb steps carrying items weighing 50lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR qualified.

Job Objective
Individual will be responsible for the daily maintenance, upkeep, and scheduling of the Combat Swimmer training Facility (CSFT), a 50 meter - Swimming pool in addition to limited support on other facility maintenance items
Responsibilities
- Maintain the CSTF daily operation of the CSTF
- Ensure the safe use, maintenance, and operation of the CSTF
- Operate circulating and sump pumps and ensure proper circulation through filters.
- Lubricate pumps, motors, adjust, and conduct minor repairs to the CSTF assets
- Perform water quality tests to determine causticity, chlorine residual, and alkalinity levels.
- Monitor pool temperature.
- Monitor chlorine and carbon dioxide delivery systems for appropriate supply levels.
- Conduct daily inspection of facility and supporting equipment for efficiency and safe operation.
- Trouble shoot, trace and identify deficiencies in the CSTF and report accordingly.
- Update and maintain and Authorized User List (AUL) and maintain records.
- Conduct maintenance and inspection of the eye wash station.
- Conduct monthly inspections of fire extinguishers.
- Perform routine filter cleaning, backwashing, hair strainer cleaning, pool vacuuming, and maintain cleanliness of pool deck.
- Comply with all pertinent instructions and directives governing the use of the CSTF.
- Ability to understand and implement emergency action procedures.
- Liaise with TRADET Officer-in-Charge (OIC) and Operations Department for any policy or procedure and interpretation as required.
