Job Description: Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) is seeking a Program Management Analyst to support the Program Management Office of the RSES contract at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in prime contracting and subcontracting, with a focus on budget management and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Prepare comparative evaluations of actual costs against budgeted funds Assist in evaluating and monitoring financial performance of programs Maintain subcontract funding levels Analyze spending trends, including manhours and cost Establish personnel forecasts Prepare monthly variance reports Communicate Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) Research cost performance concerns and implement corrective actions Minimum Requirements: MS degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field with 3+ years experience, or BS degree with 7+ years experience Experience supporting government contracts Skills in evaluating financial performance of programs with incremental government funding Experience developing and monitoring personnel forecasts Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables Knowledge of budget formulation Proficiency with customer-provided management software (iSite) Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work onsite at NASA LaRC US Citizenship or Permanent Residency Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification or formal project management training Experience supporting program management offices, particularly for support service contracts Experience with NASA contracts and financial management forms (e.g., 533M) Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI Experience developing custom reports and dashboards Salary range: $100k-$113k Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is proud of our customer relationships, our diverse and dynamic work environment, and our employees' career satisfaction.
