Sales Development Associate Manager - Analytics (Remote)

The SDAM/Analytics will be responsible for creation, management and communication of all market performance, sales performance and plan initiatives score carding. The role will work with each of the National account Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Sale Development managers in driving data analytics and customer solutions to increase overall sales and profitability of the team.

Essential Functions

  • Support team in achieving/exceeding annual case and revenue sales performance goals, pricing target goals and forecast accuracy targets.
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth and expansion and develop retail strategies using customer tools/ systems, customer insights, key market data and analytics on current trends, seasonality and other factors.
  • Develop and manage sales/revenue tools for weekly performance reviews of all customers and team members to identify performance opportunities and create solutions that provide improvement to sales and revenue.
  • Manage preparation and attend bi-annual business reviews with SVP/NAM/RSM to gain customer exposure
    • Manage preparation of account specific business plans with RSM Direction
  • Work with Sales team and pricing management to ensure that all pricing data bases are up to date and accurate.
  • Perform monthly freight review with the team and customer base to ensure no anomalies or price discrepancies that are creating negative freight variances are left unchanged.
  • Perform customer and product segmentation studies.
  • Develop foresight to anticipate future trends for particular categories.
  • Assist with purchasing processes for customers, helping improve the speed of inventory turnover.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data on category sales, market trends, customer behavior, customer/carrier/order trends and other performance indicators with the goal of maximizing sales and profits, and seeking ways to continuously improve processes.
  • Support the Sales team supplying timely data, insights and reports.
  • Travel - 25%

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 4 Years - Experience in Position
    • 2 Years - Experience managing people/projects

    • 6 Years- Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 6 Years - Experience working in Position
    • 4 Years - Experience managing people/projects
