Position Description:
The Configuration Management Coordinator is responsible for maintaining Engineering and Manufacturing files, data, documents and records under minimal supervision. Performing various duties and activities required to support functions and objectives of Engineering and Manufacturing departments. Performs data entry in a P.C. and/ or mainframe system.
Essential Functions
* Set up and maintain department records, logs and files.
* Assists department administrators, supervisors and managers in preparing and organizing various task, projects, and reports.
* Organizes the copying of various materials, files and documents.
* Researches various sources to obtain and verify information.
* Performs any other tasks directed by Management to satisfy company objectives.
Critical Competencies
* Under minimal supervision, maintain department files, data, documents and records.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Skilled in Word, Excel and other software tools.
* Excellent organizational skills
Education & Experience
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across functional areas
* High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in related field preferred.
* 1 Year of related work experience required.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
This position is located 100% onsite at our Black Mountain NC facility. Relocation assistance is not available.
