Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead the operational delivery of outsourced infrastructure services across assigned domains. You will manage service delivery, monitor SLAs, handle problem and capacity management, coordinate service requests, and maintain strong relationships with service providers and internal stakeholders. This qualified individual will provide comprehensive Infrastructure Support Services (ISS) in support of the SEC Office of Information Technology (OIT) in the area of Enterprise Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and Common Services. Support shall span across all locations, to include the SEC Headquarter Offices in Washington, DC, the SEC Data Centers, the eleven Regional Offices, and in any location(s) where the SEC operates in the future. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery and performance of enterprise infrastructure services, including networks, servers, storage, and data center operations across hybrid environments .
- Lead a large, cross-functional team of IT professionals and engineers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and mission outcomes.
- Oversee managed network services to ensure secure, scalable, and high-availability connectivity, incorporating proactive capacity planning and performance monitoring.
- Direct server and storage operations, including virtualization, backup/recovery, patching, and lifecycle management to ensure system integrity and data resilience.
- Support data center operations across primary and remote sites, including configuration management, facility monitoring, change implementation, release deployment, and continuity of operations in coordination with the SEC Data Center Team.
- Plan, test, and maintain contingency and disaster recovery strategies to ensure continuity of operations and compliance with agency recovery time objectives (RTOs).
- Drive continuous improvement through infrastructure automation, infrastructure-as-code, and standardization of provisioning and change control processes.
- Serve as the primary interface with service providers, ensuring SLA adherence, issue escalation, and strategic alignment of infrastructure services with mission needs.
- Collaborate with security, application, and operations teams to deliver integrated infrastructure support and maintain a strong cybersecurity posture.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for infrastructure architecture decisions, engineering designs, and investment prioritization aligned to business goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
- Minimum 8 years of management experience focusing on Data Centers, Servers, Storage, and Network programs/projects including mission-critical IT systems implementations.
- At least five years managing large programs (100+ personnel) delivering enterprise infrastructure support to 6000+ end users across multiple locations.
- 3 or more years' experience presenting to and collaborating with C-level executives.
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure delivery teams
- Ability to be full-time on-site at SEC HQ in Washington D.C.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or willing to get one)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Agency Clearance

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
