Job Description |
ECU Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness (
CRW) is currently seeking several Recreation Service Attendants.
Join our dedicated team at Campus Recreation and Wellness (
CRW) as a Recreation Service Attendant. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to gain valuable experience in supporting recreational programs and facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate entrance to the Eakin Student Recreation Center and the Health Science Campus Recreation Center.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive experience when sharing information on CRW programs & services to customers.
- Communicate effectively (via phone and in-person) by exchanging information so the message is received and understood with clarity.
- Accurately check out recreation equipment.
- Perform cash handling to include, but not limited to, selling guest passes, memberships, lockers, and program registrations.
- Record and document all lost and found items.
- Perform laundry services such as towels and intramural jerseys.
- Assist in emergencies as identified in the Emergency Procedures Manual.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Must currently be an enrolled student at ECU.
- Must be able to lift and manage a minimum of 60 lbs. Heavy lifting is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible work availability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and sanctioned ECU breaks.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 8 to 12 hours a week.
- Obtain valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
