What You Will Be Doing: In this position, you will be part of a fast-paced transportation planning team, responsible for managing complex projects which meet budget and schedule to client satisfaction for services related to transportation planning and project funding. In this role, you will be expected to lead a subset of our Midwest transportation funding team focused on securing funding for highway corridor and system infrastructure projects. Ideally, this role would also serve as a lead or support planner on large infrastructure projects requiring a robust funding plan for project delivery. Responsibilities are expected to include developing and facilitating the delivery of project implementation and funding plans, staying up to date on all relevant state and federal funding programs and proactively communicating opportunities internally and to clients, leading grant application teams with responsibility for quality deliverables, and leading strategies for persuasive project messaging and visuals that support application packages and state and federal lobbying efforts. This role exercises independent judgement and may provide oversight, supervision, and/or work direction to less experienced staff. The position also receives oversight and work direction from work group leaders.
