Position Overview

Zelis Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Cashflow and Capex to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's cash flow and Capital Expenditures (Capex) forecasting process . This role combines strategic allocation of resources, efficiency in spending, and support for strategic decision-making processes. It requires a blend of strategic thinking, detailed financial analysis, and strong collaboration skills.

What you'll do:

  • Cashflow Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow models to forecast short-term and long-term liquidity needs. Analyze cash flow trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely cash flow reporting. Monitor and manage working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels. Prepare and present cash flow reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

  • Capex Planning and Budgeting: work with key Finance and Business stakeholders to develop and manage the capital expenditure budget, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and financial plans. Conduct thorough financial analyses of proposed capital projects, including Return on Investment (ROI), cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessment. Oversee the allocation of capital resources to various projects, ensuring optimal utilization and tracking the performance of capital investments.

  • Collaborate with various departments, including Accounting teams, to build driver-based cash flow models and ensure accurate and timely cash flow reporting. Monitor and manage working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels. Prepare and present cash flow forecasts and results to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

  • Perform sensitivity analysis for cash flow projections under a variety of financial and business scenarios.

  • Leadership: Work cross-functionally to align business and finance constituents, fostering a culture of standardization and transparency.

  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning. Assist in the evaluation and execution of financing strategies, including debt management and capital raising activities.

What you'll bring to Zelis:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a capex finance role. Experience in the healthcare or technology industries is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow modeling, and liquidity management.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as Workday or Adaptive Insights.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
