Automation Technician - Nederland, TX

The Automation Technician is responsible for is responsible for operating in the field, on-call or provides technical support to assigned customers. Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following blueprints and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

• Build, automate, and function test all assemblies according to ADS
  • This includes a variety of valve types and assemblies, Pneumatic & Electric Actuators, manual valves, rotary valves and linear valves.
  • Working knowledge of Specialized automation accessories such as limit switches, solenoids, positioner, quick exhaust etc.
• Assist with automation final QC/QA and Photo documentation
• Troubleshooting any automation / valve issues in the shop.
• Provide backup support for the Shipping Manager. This includes packaging, dock coverage, and
  • assist with unloading and loading trucks
• Provide offsite support if needed
• Help with printing and editing ADS
• Maintain general warehouse and shop safety as well as cleanliness
• Attend monthly safety meetings and Trainings
