Team/Position Summary: The Content Lab team acts as an in-house creative partner, designed to strategically ideate, innovate, produce, and deliver quality content on various channels.

This position ensures broadcast quality recording for various types of productions including, but not limited to, video shoots, live streams, events, and post-production.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Collaborates with clients, leadership/producers to support overall direction of sound use.
  • Evaluates projects for specific sound requirements.
  • Record, edit, mix various sound sources.
  • Responsible for final mix of broadcast, web-based videos and surround sound assets.
  • Sweeten or add effects to audio in post-production.
  • Helps create and maintain sound libraries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to sound.
  • Supports live events with set up of audio consoles/equipment, intercoms, and conference systems.
  • Contributes to creative direction and project management to cross functional teams, partners, and vendors
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of five (5) years working in video production emphasis on audio recording and mixing.
  • Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of sound acquisition and recording equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of various types of audio software.
  • Strong knowledge of various audio standards (Broadcast, 5.1, 7.1, Dolby Atmos, etc).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe CC, Izotope, and SourceConnect.
  • General understanding of video formats, frame rates, signal flow, wireless audio interfaces, RF coordination, and digital signal processing.
  • Undergraduate degree, degree in audio/sound engineering
  • Avid pro Tools User Certification preferred

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $91,500 - $146,400 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
