Overall Purpose

The Senior Director, Workplace Technology and Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for shaping and managing the delivery of world class IT services across client computing, IT operations, and IT asset management. This role ensures that employees are equipped with reliable, secure, and modern workplace technologies that enable productivity and support business objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Provides leadership to multi-disciplinary IT teams and vendor partners, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and service excellence.

  • Collaborates with security, HR, facilities, and business units to align technology strategies with workforce needs.

  • Develops and manages budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for technology services and capital investments.

  • Stays ahead of industry trends in workplace technology and recommends relevant advancements.

  • Leads the vision and roadmap for enterprise end user computing including laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops, and collaboration tools.

  • Drives standardization, automation, and modernization of device management, imaging, software distribution, and endpoint security.

  • Oversees IT infrastructure and service operations, including monitoring, incident management, and service desk functions.

  • Implements best practices and drives continuous improvement of operational workflows.

  • Directs IT asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, inventory management, compliance, and end of life disposition.

  • Communicated technology strategies, priorities, and performance metrics to executive leadership, providing clear, data driving updates on service delivery, operational risk, and outcomes.

  • Support the company's commitment to risk management by protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with 10+ years of experience in Workplace Engineering and/or IT Operations management experience.

  • Proven experience overseeing large scale client computing environments and IT operations.

  • Demonstrated success in leading organizational change, digital workplace transformation, and cross functional initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in:

Phoenix, AZ in USD per year is: $185,000 - $245,000.

New York, NY in USD per year is: $215,000 - $270,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
