CORPORATE DIRECTOR OF REVENUE MANAGEMENT
Reports to: EVP, Commercial Services
Position is Exempt, Chicago-Based
WHO WE ARE
Aparium has twice been named Travel + Leisure's Top 25 Hotel Brands Worldwide. We were founded in 2011 and born with an intense focus on unearthing the amazing moments unique to every city. Since its founding, Aparium has grown into a new kind of hotel brand, one that ventures off the beaten path, both geographically and philosophically. It is a sophisticated hotel brand known for its singular ability to combine the business acumen of large hospitality companies with the charm of boutique hotels, bringing the disparate forces together in bustling, smaller markets.
THE ROLE
As the Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy, you will lead the revenue optimization efforts for a growing portfolio of independent, lifestyle hotels across the U.S. Reporting to the EVP of Commercial Services, you'll serve as a critical voice in shaping the company's top-line performance and commercial alignment.
This is a high-impact role, responsible for driving both revenue results and strategic discipline across the portfolio. You'll guide property-level revenue leaders while evolving our company-wide approach to pricing, distribution, segmentation, and competitive strategy. It's a hands-on leadership role: you'll be in the data, on the calls, walking the market, and collaborating closely with peers in Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You are attuned to the trends influencing our business and bring forth innovative ideas and solutions that drive business to our hotels. Your ability to blend strategic thinking with practical implementation will set the tone for revenue excellence across the organization.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a revenue leader who knows that success in independent hospitality means combining data, instinct, and market savvy. You've led multi-property revenue teams, navigated complex market dynamics, and developed strategies that move the needle. You understand how to tailor plans for unique assets while building scalable systems and playbooks. You are a leader but can also roll up your sleeves and jump in to fulfill the role of DRM as needed in pre-opening and times of transition.
Your experience includes both independent and branded hotels. You're energized by doing things differently, not just leveraging a playbook and repeating the industry status quo. You know the power of collaboration, lead without ego, and take pride in developing others. You're excited to be part of a company that values character as much as competence-and you're ready to grow something that matters.
