This is a team which provides leadership, direction, and accountability for cloud design, service architecture, engineering infrastructure, and data platform development. You will help conduct business reviews and operate our production services, and work closely with other engineering teams to ensure services and systems are highly stable, meet performance SLAs, and meet the expectations of internal and external customers and users. ResponsibilitiesAs a Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will lead, mentor, coach, and grow a team of diverse, talented engineers who are versed in delivering world-class services in high pressure situations. You will work closely with other engineering and research teams to ensure services & systems are highly stable and performant and meet the expectations of internal and external customers. You will lead our engineering team responsible for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in Sovereign Clouds. This role requires a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, highly technical, constantly evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have a customer focus with a deep understanding of cloud design principles. Due to the increasing prevalence of cyber-threats & attacks, you will be required to provide technical leadership and nurture a learn-it-all, curious, data-driven culture in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
