Who You Are: Knowledgeable: You bring either lived experience or expert learned experience about the commercial sex trades or sex trafficking and the impact of systems such as DHS, CPS or others into this role. What You'll Do: * 1:1 Support: Provide case management, advocacy and mentorship in a community-based setting to a caseload of 10-15 youth who are impacted by DHS. * Goal Plan: Work with youth survivors to identify goals and support in strategizing and reducing barriers to meet their goals. * Crisis Support: Support youth in navigating crisis and provide crisis interventions as appropriate. * Data Compliance: Maintain required documentation, including case notes, case files and expenditures. * This position is based at the Youth CNCT building at 41 SE 102nd Avenue and launches in to community to meet with youth, returning to Youth CNCT or other New Avenues locations between meetings and at the end of the day Qualifications: * Minimum of 1-year experience working with high-risk youth or providing mentorship services to participants intersecting with DHS, CPS, or similar systems OR a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology or related human services field experience required. * Prior experience engaging youth or participants who face multiple barriers, preferably around contexts associated with exploitation and require in depth documentation and systems coordination. * Proficiency in basic communication and technical skills, including composing professional emails, operating a phone system, client management software and standard computer applications. * Possess a valid Driver's License and a personal vehicle which will be used for transporting youth as part of mentorship. Any candidate deemed viable for this position based on resources and resume submission will be contacted to participate in a screen interview to discuss interest and job compatibility. Of those screened, advancing candidates will be asked to participate in a subsequent interview or interviews to evaluate job qualifications and interest further.
