JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for technical leadership and engineering support for the Facilities Strategic Business Unit (FSBU) to ensure operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide engineering support to existing facility operations in areas of business optimization, problem identification and resolution, implementation and training of new strategies
2. Assist with identifying and implementing EBITDA improvement opportunities
3. Develop tools and training methods for operations to evaluate process efficiencies (OEE), data analysis/trending and maintenance outage optimization
4. Manage execution of small to medium size Capital Improvement Projects
5. Drive best in class and value engineered upgrades for existing plants
6. Conduct pro-active investigation and root cause analysis (RCA) to determine engineering flaws and/or operational challenges
7. Drive implementation of new technologies in existing facilities to include data acquisition, key reporting metrics and trending analysis
8. Support continued development of CMMS
9. Drive change by challenging the status quo, developing a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
10. Provide on-site rapid response support to plant managers for process troubleshooting

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

5. Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate and build a culture of accountability
6. Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and culturally drive an environment of proactive preventative maintenance, operational efficiency, and high productivity and cost effectiveness
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel including executive management
8. Ability to implement and develop CMMS program

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering - preferably mechanical or industrial
2. 15+ years of increasing responsibility & experience in industrial services or manufacturing operations with maintenance and engineering project management and execution
3. Experience in driving and leading lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and root cause analysis
4. Experience with developing key operational reporting metrics
5. Minimum of five years in a technical/engineering leadership role
6. Process Improvement leadership experience preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions and hazards: Variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to bio-solids
