Function:

Job Summary:The Project Manager will work closely with the following Manufacturing IT teams and their business partners: Process Data Management, Corporate and Plant IT Infrastructure. They are responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and completing projects of varying size and complexity. The incumbent will manage project teams, provide communications to the Project Sponsor and stakeholders, and ensure quality control throughout the project life cycle by following the methodology that has been established by the IT Project Management Office and CF Internal Audit functions. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages project development from initiation to closure and will be accountable for project results.
  • Works with the project sponsor and stakeholders to complete the project charter and the statement of work, outlining the scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing.
  • Ensures that complete requirements have been gathered and documented.
  • Completes the work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task.
  • Provides a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed and by which team member.
  • Provides appropriate communications to the project sponsor and stakeholders and manage clear expectations.
  • Resolves issues and problems as they arise throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Identifies risks and risk mitigation plans.
  • Manages project scope by ensuring that any changes to the scope are documented and approved by the project sponsor using project change request forms.
  • Identifies and track project milestones and the critical path, while providing status reports to the project sponsor and the PMO.
  • Leads and motivates project team members on a proactive basis, and keeps projects on time and within budget.
  • Determines how project success will be measured and conducts a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved.
  • Ensures that all project documents have been safely stored and are accessible to the project team

Internal Controls:

Establishes and implements processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements. Ensures that established processes/procedures are followed as designed.Works with Internal Controls Department to identify deficiencies in existing processes/procedures, the need for new ones, and the extent to which such processes/procedures are being followed. Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary.

Successful incumbents will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or other related fields
  • 5 - 7 years of project management experience; PMP certification
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated leadership ability managing teams in a matrix environment
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Proven upper management presentation skills, impeccable time management skills, and ability to work with all levels of management
  • Two years experience managing projects including IT infrastructure- Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Cisco networking, Microsoft Operating Systems and Databases
  • Experience managing project using Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Ideal candidates will have prior experience in process manufacturing IT (e.g. Fertilizers, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Pharmaceuticals)
  • Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with the following software: PI (Aveva Plant Information), SAP, GE-APM, UptimeAI.

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $72,900 - $96,200

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
