Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven and experienced individual to lead strategic engagements with our key Space sector customers and actively drive expansion into new target customers, including those in space-related defense. This role is crucial for strengthening our existing client relationships and identifying, qualifying, and securing new opportunities in the rapidly evolving space and defense market.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred; interconnect experience is desirable
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales within the aerospace, space, or defense industry
  • Strong existing network or demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders in aerospace and defense
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the region's space and defense ecosystem (e.g., primes, government agencies, tech startups, research centers)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and travel as needed

Are You Our Next ACE?



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our existing key Space customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, business drivers, and market trends in the Space and Space Defense sectors
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with target accounts, including those in space-based defense, commercial space, satellite, and related sectors
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, program management, product management, executive leadership) to align solutions with customer requirements and identify potential improvements or innovations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and relevant networking forums within the region
  • Maintain and update CRM records, sales forecasts, and regular progress reports

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $190,000-$220,000 (DOE). Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
