Staffmark is hiring a detail-oriented Customs Trade Specialist to assist with import clearance for international shipments. You'll prepare and submit required documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other government regulations. Schedule: 1st Shift

Pay: $20/hr

Responsibilities



  • Prepare and submit import documentation for ocean, air, and ground shipments.
  • Enter shipment data into customs systems (e.g., Descartes, CargoWise).
  • Review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, importers, and carriers.
  • Track shipments and assist with customs holds or agency delays.
  • Ensure timely, accurate filings with CBP and other agencies.
  • Maintain organized records of all documentation and communications.



Qualifications



  • High school diploma required; degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Basic knowledge of CBP/import regulations
  • Experience with customs software (e.g., Descartes, CargoWise) a plus
  • Background in shipping, logistics, or trade compliance preferred
