DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This opportunity will combine your leadership abilities and knowledge of new developments within the print production field as you manage and advance the bureau's use of a server-based software applications to perform critical late-stage editing and processing of high-volume, sensitive files for print production. You will independently manage the day-to-day functions of a three shift operation, respond accordingly to customer inquiries, and draft standard operating procedures. This includes establishing, documenting, and optimizing these procedures and workflows for manipulating input files and ensuring that tasks such as data extraction, accessibility adjustments, formatting corrections, and file conversions are executed efficiently and accurately. Throughout your work, our team will rely on you to ensure quality and identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement. In this role, you will collaborate extensively with software staff to test enhancements, with external partners to support data tracking mechanisms and address operational changes, and with internal and external stakeholders to oversee integration with third-party reporting tools and print equipment, troubleshooting compatibility issues as they arise. This also entails coordinating with IT and procurement teams on system upgrades and impact assessments. Your dedicated oversight and effective communication will be essential for safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the print production cycle, where strict deadlines and legal mandates are often in effect. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Essential employee - required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week, and in the office at least two days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Business Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as an Information Technology Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- Five years of business process analysis experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
