The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about transforming complex data into strategic intelligence? At Pyrotek, we're seeking a Sr. Developer - BI & Database to design and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions that fuel our decision-making and operational excellence across the globe.

This role is perfect for a seasoned data expert who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, and is ready to take data architecture, warehousing, and analytics to the next level.

What You'll Do:

  • Architect and build enterprise-grade data platforms that support analytics and business intelligence at scale.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Collaborate with leaders and global team membersacross departments to define KPIs and design real-time and batch data solutions that drive strategy.
  • Create powerful dashboards and self-service analytics tools using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Lead implementation of best practices in data governance, lifecycle management, and secure analytics.
  • Stay ahead of emerging tech trends in AI, machine learning, and automation-and bring them to life at Pyrotek.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years' experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics development.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and database platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Fabric).
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from ERP, MES, CRM and other enterprise applications.
  • A strong grasp of real-time/batch analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and professional development.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including approved footwear, respirators, and safety glasses/goggles may be required.

The minimum and maximum salaryrange for this full-time position is $90,000 - $140k + benefits. Relocation benefits may be available, if deemed applicable based on candidate location.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited tojob-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posted role reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits.
