This is ahybrid position based out of Feeding America's Chicago office location. At Feeding America, we believe in offering a flexible work environment. This person must be in the office three (3) days a week and can work from home on other days. Employees also have access to a 30-day "work anywhere" program during the course of each calendar year that can be combined with PTO and/or holidays.

The Opportunity

The Coordinator, Donor Relations works to ensure successful, efficient processes within the Donor Relations team.
Compensation

Here at Feeding America national organization, equality is central to our mission and is an integral part of our compensation policies and structures. As such, we maintain transparent salary ranges and clearly defined practices for how our team, including new hire salary offers, moves through these ranges. You can expect us to offer the best salary up front based on these clearly defined pay practices with little room for negotiation. We make exceptions for highly experienced (multiple years of at-level experience) new hires in accordance with our pay practices. Once hired, employees have the opportunity to progress through salary ranges via regular merit increases and step promotions.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 Based on Experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare donor responses received through an escalation process from emails, phone calls and website inquire. This will require outbound correspondence creation, outbound and inbound phone calls.
  • Document all timely response as interaction in the CRM to record all exchanges as well as to leverage metrics of all activity volume.
  • Produce acknowledgement receipts daily, updating for personalization and ensure they are sent to donors in a timely manner. Additionally, process receipt requests and other information requests received from donors.
  • Provide support to the Integrated Marketing team by responding to inquiries from their digital platforms as assigned.
  • Assist in donor inquiries specific to donations of stocks, mutual funds, and corporate matching gifts.
  • Review for accuracy activity entries and workflows for the contact center.
  • Proactively produce CRM data integrity reports to either disseminate or resolve such as updating constituent account updates for address, email, phone, and other data elements.
  • Provide support to operational tasks such as copying, filing, scanning, calendaring, meeting prep, routine check request processing, processing of returned mail and ordering basic office supplies.
  • Maintain a script inventory to track various questions and Feeding America's response to ensure
  • Receive, process, and respond to mail escalated through the Feeding America inhouse mail process as well as accurately process caging rejects received.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Experience and Qualifications:
    • 1-2 years professional / internship experience - work in fundraising operations a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with great attention to detail
    • Must be accurate, well organized, and a self-starter
    • Must have strong computer experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Willingness to investigate issues and follow through to resolution.
