Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Customer Service professionals to join our team as Provider Service Representatives for a seasonal project. In this role, you will handle high-volume inbound calls related to insurance claims, benefits, and pre-authorizations, with a focus on Medicare and Commercial lines of business. You will act as a liaison between internal departments and external providers, ensuring prompt, accurate, and professional service.
Key Responsibilities: * Respond to Department of Health audit calls and provider inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. * Handle 70-100 inbound calls daily via autodialer, maintaining an average call time of 7 minutes. * Document calls in real-time while maintaining wrap-up times and readiness for the next call. * Access and navigate multiple databases simultaneously to resolve provider issues. * Clearly explain policies, procedures, and benefits related to Medicare and Commercial insurance. * Avoid call avoidance behaviors such as short calls, inappropriate transfers, or misuse of hold functions. * Maintain high standards of data accuracy and timely input for all customer interactions. * Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all lines of business and technical proficiency. * Deliver information confidently and clearly to providers and internal stakeholders. * Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and uphold the organization's commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
