Anchorage, AK - Arctic Spur - Filling industrial How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting Distribution Manager with daily delivery routes, purchase order requests and processing necessary paperwork for cylinder movement in the Anchorage Plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.

  • Manages the purchase order requests and vendor billing for the operations department of the Plant.

  • Processes delivery order tickets in the system.

  • Works closely with ASU Plant Manager on the efficiencies through cylinder utilization and customer replenishment orders (ZRO).

  • Pulls daily orders from SAP system to create the necessary routes for driver deliveries on a daily basis.

  • Creates load sheets for production loaders, before their scheduled shift, to prepare trucks for on time delivery.

  • Maintains production data input and changes with cylinder movements. Processes special handling arrangements and costing of products for customer invoicing.

  • Assist ASU Plant Manager with all DOT paperwork for accuracy and completeness before sending to the Business Service Center (BSC).

  • Communicates professionally, respectfully and effectively in both oral and written forms at all levels.

  • Responsible for all documentation to follow and comply with ISO 9001:2015 for spec gas cylinders.

  • Communicates professionally, respectfully and effectively in both oral and written forms at all levels.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education:

  • High school degree or the equivalent preferred, with two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Length and Type of Experience:

  • Experience with SAP is preferred. At least two years' experience working in a distribution, logistics environment.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite products.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees.

  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
