Job Overview
About the Role We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to join our Equipment Finance Division. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial operations, data management, and customer relationship systems. You'll work closely with our Credit and Operations teams to support key initiatives that drive efficiency and accuracy across our portfolio. This person is an in-person internship, requiring 10-15 hours in the fall at our Michigan City, Indiana location, and will conclude at the end of December 2025.
Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Data Entry:
- Assist in migrating existing customer applications into Salesforce.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer records and application details.
- Collateral Support:
- Help manage title documentation for financed assets.
- Verify and process lien releases, subordinations, and clearances.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain proper asset records.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Support data integrity initiatives across the division.
- Assist in generating reports and dashboards for internal analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements related to data tracking and reporting.
- Credit and Risk:
- Assist in pulling reports and organizing credit files.
- Learn to Assess and mitigate the Bank's equipment finance credit risk via sound underwriting standards and adherence to policy. Special projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be a junior or senior at the start of the internship.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
