Job Overview
About the Role As an Equipment Finance Intern, you will support the Equipment Finance Division in delivering innovative finance solutions for a variety of equipment finance solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain insights into sales support, comprehensive equipment finance processes and workflows, and customer relationship management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position is an in-person internship, requiring 10-15 hours in the fall at our Michigan City, Indiana location and will conclude at the end of December 2025
Duties
- Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to introduce our services, gather information, and set up appointments for the sales team.
- Process and enter credit applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
- Assist the sales team in preparing presentations, proposals, and client communications to support the sales process.
- Perform all work in compliance with established regulations, policies, and instructions.
- Complete required training associated with job function.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in business, economics, finance, sales or marketing.
- Must be a junior or senior at the start of the internship.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
