Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday), 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday) or 11:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday - Thursday) Reached a dead end at your current job? This is a potential to hire position for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Apply today! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Read and understand production shop orders - Use hand tools including routers, drills, cutting tools, and finishing tools for the purpose of finishing, cleaning or deburring parts - Understand basic thermoformer controls and run production, with the ability to load and unload machines - Operate band saws for pre-trimming or cutting up scrap - Use and understand basic measuring tools including tape measures, scales / rulers and heat guns - Keep accurate records and entries in the data collection system, quality reports and Day By the Hour Reports - Contribute to continuous improvement ideas - Operate CNC / robotic trimming equipment including stopping/starting machines - Participate and promote 5S procedures and practices Requirements for Machine Operator: - Experience working with large machinery preferred - Basic computer knowledge - Able to distinguish colors - Able to stand most of day - 2/3 of shift - Able to walk throughout shift - 1/3 of shift - Able to reach, stoop, bend and crouch - 1/3 of shift - Able to lift up to 50lbs - 2/3 of shift browndeer@qpsemployment.com IND102 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
