Fitter Welder Location: Cudahy, WI Shift: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Pay: $26-$29/hour (based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Fitter Welders to join our team in Cudahy, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting and welding fabrications ranging from small components to large assemblies weighing several thousand pounds. This is a full-time, first-shift position offering competitive pay and a positive, safety-first work environment. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to accurately fit and assemble fabrications. Perform welding using hardwire and/or metalcore processes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and structural integrity. Operate overhead and jib cranes, as well as forklifts, to handle and move large components safely and efficiently. Conduct quality inspections to verify measurements, tolerances, and weld integrity. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on tools and equipment to ensure proper operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards and OSHA regulations. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Fitter Welder, with the ability to interpret and work from blueprints and fabrication drawings. Skilled in hardwire and/or metalcore welding techniques. Experience operating overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts is essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
