Position Overview: Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced professional to serve as our Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving Supervisor on Second Shift in our processing facility in Norwood, MN. The normal schedule for this position will be 3 pm to 12 am, Monday thru Friday.

What You'll Do:

• Overall responsibility for warehouse operations and personnel on second shift to ensure that product is stored according to procedures and all internal and external freight movements are safe and efficient.
• Ensure the highest standards of quality, product safety and employee safety are always maintained.
• Attend production, safety and quality meetings as required to meet overall business goals.
• Partner with Warehouse Manager on talent management, performance reviews and talent acquisition for assigned Warehouse Personnel.
• Maintain the facility in an audit ready state for customers or regulatory agencies.
• All other duties as assigned or necessary for safe, effective operations in the Warehouse.

What You Bring:

• We prefer at least 3 - 5 years of warehouse experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity but will consider other combinations of experience/education.
• Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of employees and management.
• Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change.
• Must be proficient with the principles of inventory management software and possess the ability to become a subject matter expert in our system.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferable or a combination of experience and education that relates to the position.

Working Conditions:

• Office in a food manufacturing environment.
• Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking and typing on a computer is required.
• Light lifting may be required, up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to travel about 10% of the time.
• Willing to work evenings, and occasionally days or weekends as business needs require.
