Programmatic Activation Specialist (agency experience)

Marketing Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.


Summary
We are seeking a skilled Programmatic Activation Specialist to support the execution, optimization, and analysis of digital marketing campaigns. In this role, you will drive programmatic media strategy and performance, helping to deliver measurable impact for global marketing initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate data into actionable insights, ensuring programmatic efforts align with overall business goals.

Our Ideal Candidate


  • 4+ years of experience in digital media, with at least 3 years in media buying/activation



  • Passion for digital marketing with a strong foundation in programmatic campaign management and optimization



  • Proficient in The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads, Excel, Tableau, and Keynote



  • Familiar with SSP/Ad Exchange platforms, Private Marketplace setup, and third-party brand safety providers (e.g., IAS, MOAT, DV)



  • Skilled in collaborating with strategists, agencies, data, and business teams



  • Able to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously



  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders



  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail



  • Knowledge of subscription business models preferred




Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the tactical planning, launch, management, and optimization of programmatic media campaigns. You'll partner with channel leads, strategists, media agencies, and business teams to deliver end-to-end campaign execution and performance management. This includes analyzing data to uncover insights, optimizing campaigns to meet KPIs, and validating performance through strategic testing. You will also support reporting and storytelling efforts, ensuring stakeholders at all levels understand the value of programmatic media.

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)



  • Strong background in digital media activation and programmatic buying



  • DoubleClick certification desired but not required

This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA and requires a hybrid work schedule.

The pay for this W-2 position is $66.08 per hour.

This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
