Pharmacy Technician- Overnight, Inpatient

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician to join our Methodist Hospital Pharmacy team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in the timely and accurate dispensing of sterile hazardous and non-hazardous medications to patients in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time- 7 on 7 off (works 70 and gets paid for 80)
• 9:00pm-7:00am
• Shift Differential of $2.00/hr on weekdays and $3.25/hr on weekends

Does not need to be currently OP or IV trained. We will train based on technician's current skills but will be trained in both OP and IV

Required Qualifications:

We are open to filling this position with a Certified or Non-Certified technician. Requirements for each are outlined below:

Certified Pharmacy Technician:

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Technician certification required. Certification as CPhT through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).

Non-Certified Technician:

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician

Preferred Qualifications:

• One or more recent years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
