Position Summary The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks 2 faculty members to join the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. This position is for an open rank -- clinician educator General Gastroenterologist and a General Gastroenterologist specialized Hepatology. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and education. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 1) Board certified in Internal Medicine; 2) Board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology and Hepatology by date of hire; and 3) Must be eligible to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications: 1) Experience in clinical service; 2) Experience/interest in education; 3) Experience/interest research; 4) Available to travel to outreach clinics throughout New Mexico; and 5) A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
