Roles and Responsibilities:
(Include Safety and Environmental, Quality, and Job Specific Roles and Responsibilities) * Supports development of identifying appropriate cycle, TAKT and product throughput time. * Review production and labor daily * Supports development of line designs, workstation and operational definitions. * Support development of line and workstation design. This will include assessments and adjustments to enhance productivity and adjust capacity as needed. * Able to apply concepts such as DFA/DFM, Lean Manufacturing/DFT, Poka-Yoke, etc. * Supports setting up processes that include a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastic and glass. * Assists in developing processes that are safe and ergonomically suitable * Develops, communicates and participates in implementing manufacturing process strategies capable of producing defect free products that consistently meet customer requirements for value and pricing. * Conducts root cause investigations * Develops root cause investigations * Develops work instructions and OMS * Plans and identifies fixture and hand tools, incorporating mistake proofing into the process.
