We're seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of leveraged finance clients. In this role, you'll deepen client relationships, generate new business, and collaborate with internal partners to deliver a full suite of financial solutions. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive market growth while shaping the future of commercial banking.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage, retain and expand a portfolio of leveraged finance and commercial relationships.

  • Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth through proactive business development.

  • Partner with internal teams to cross-sell treasury, capital markets, wealth, and private banking solutions.

  • Assess credit requests and recommend loan structures in collaboration with Portfolio Managers.

  • Ensure portfolio administration aligns with credit policy, risk standards, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Deliver financial insights and counsel to clients on market trends and opportunities.

  • Represent Associated Bank in the community by building networks and referral sources.

  • Identify client needs and connect them with the right banking solutions across business lines.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years commercial banking or B2B sales experience with proven business development skills

  • Formal credit training and underwriting knowledge

  • Knowledge of non-borrowing products (what else can we say here or is this the whole sentiment)
