This opportunity is in the Claims department.
Our Claims Department oversees both high-exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. As an unbundled carrier, we work actively with third-party administrators (TPAs) and self-administered accounts to assist in guiding claims to a successful resolution. As an excess carrier, the catastrophic claims we handle keep our group challenged, but the uniqueness provides plenty of growth opportunities.

Role Description:

Are you ready to lead and shape the future of liability claims handling? As Director, Liability Claims, you will supervise Claims Analysts and Managers while overseeing complex liability claims from assignment to resolution. You'll play a critical role in driving excellence in litigation management, coverage evaluation, and claims strategy-while building strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will serve as a liaison to Underwriting, Risk Control, Reinsurance, Finance, and TPAs, and will champion process improvements across the Liability Line of Business (LOB). In this leadership role, you'll also ensure claim reserve accuracy, audit quality, training initiatives, and performance reviews for direct reports. If you are a strategic thinker with deep experience in liability claims and a passion for leadership, this is your opportunity to make an impact.
