*Mortgage Compliance * Location: Westlake Village, CA
Intermediate Level | Full-Time *Overview* Join a dynamic compliance team dedicated to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data across Retail and Correspondent Lending channels. As a *HMDA Data Analyst & Tester*, you'll play a key role in supporting regulatory compliance through detailed data reviews, testing, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. *Key Responsibilities* *Data Analysis & Testing* * Conduct monthly and quarterly HMDA data integrity reviews using source documentation and system reports (e.g., Encompass, Magnus). * Execute test scripts for key HMDA fields such as Rate Spread, DTI, and Income using established job aids and compliance frameworks. * Validate sample records against source documents and identify root causes of discrepancies. * Utilize tools like BI Pulse Reports, FFIEC Geocoder, CFPB Rate Spread Calculator, and Encompass Public Reports for data extraction and verification. *Quality Control & Remediation* * Support the second line of defense (2LOD) testing framework by reviewing offshore team findings and ensuring accurate resolution. * Document and track remediation efforts for identified HMDA data issues. * Assist in subsampling validation reviews across Delegated and Non-Delegated records to ensure accurate reporting. *Documentation & Reporting* * Maintain organized evidence of testing and validation in shared drives and compliance repositories. * Contribute to the development and refinement of HMDA job aids, procedures, and desktop guides. * Prepare summaries of findings and communicate results to Compliance SMEs and business units. *Collaboration & Support* * Partner with Compliance SMEs, Retail and Correspondent Lending teams, and offshore testing teams. * Participate in the publication and review of updated procedures and job aids in Confluence and Workiva. * Support audit readiness and regulatory reviews by ensuring documentation is complete and accessible. *Qualifications* *Education & Experience* * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage compliance or data analysis, preferably with HMDA. *Skills & Tools* * Strong proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables), Encompass, Magnus, and BI reporting tools. * Familiarity with CFPB guidelines and Regulation C. * Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
