*Patient Services Representative (Remote with Location Restrictions)* *Overview:*
The Patient Services Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers. This position involves handling outbound calls, updating patient records, and supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Conduct 8-10 outbound calls per hour to patients or physician offices regarding medication orders, pharmacy services, and non-clinical inquiries. * Update or collect insurance and pharmaceutical information in patient records; notify appropriate teams for account updates. * Create and manage patient activity records to support follow-ups, documentation of inquiries, complaints, and service actions. * Initiate service discharge, contact physician offices, and coordinate patient communications (e.g., mailing letters). * Fulfill client- and pharma-specific tasks to meet service expectations. * Collaborate with disease-focused teams to ensure high-quality patient support. * Connect patients with pharmacists for clinical counseling when needed. * Perform special handling tasks such as drug shipment notifications and Adverse Drug Event reporting. * Escalate calls to clinicians, insurance verification, or specialized teams as appropriate. * Participate in special projects, provide bilingual support, and cross-train in other departments (e.g., enrollment, support teams). *Work Location* *Remote with Restrictions:* Candidates must reside within 40 minutes of one of the following locations: * Florida * Canton, MI * Frisco, TX * Pittsburgh, PA *Required Skills & Qualifications* * Customer service experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or call center environments. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn proprietary systems. * Strong computer skills and multitasking ability. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Must be comfortable wearing a headset throughout the workday. * Reliable broadband internet (minimum 100 Mbps download speed) with hardwired connection (ethernet cable provided). *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings. * Familiarity with order entry and data entry processes. * Previous experience handling outbound calls. *Soft Skills* * Active listening and clear communication. * Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. * Receptive to feedback and continuous improvement. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. *Experience Level* *Entry Level* *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
