Job Description

Position Summary:

Schedules and coordinates shipping flow of work by performing the following duties.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

In performing functions, duties or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of Company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.

  • Coordinates with outside vendors for truck availability and schedules for completion.
  • Participates in lean activities and documents Best Practices.
  • Responsible for maintaining the OSP log.
  • Assists Operations with tracking of consumables, OSP spend, etc.
  • Generates OSP Purchase Orders & closes orders in Oracle.
  • Responsible for maintaining the OSP tracker up to date.
  • Coordinates non-shipment activities including shipment & delivery from OSP supplier, shipment of tooling to and from vendors, and ship plan data input
  • Communicates with outside vendors regarding processing lead times, capacity, and delinquent deliveries.
  • Participates in 6S activities and documents improvements.
  • Responsible for coordinating activities and observation of outside vendors.
  • Coordinate logistics between Outside services and internal production team.
  • Ensures all purchase orders for outside services comply with standards, specifications, and procedures as defined by the company.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Experience & Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Able to read English, Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $24.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 40 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
