As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, being a visible presence to help prevent potential issues, and responding promptly to any security-related situations. This role requires you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will also interact regularly with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities or access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific protocols.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
